Fees & Insurance
Red Pine Neuropsychology is currently a primarily private-pay practice. Enrollment as a Medicare provider is currently pending, and this page will be updated as soon as Medicare participation and effective dates are confirmed.
Fees vary by the type of evaluation. The prices below include the clinical interview, testing, scoring, interpretation, feedback session, and written report.
Uninsured and self-pay patients will receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges as required by law.
Evaluation Fees
Focused Adult ADHD Evaluation
$895
Designed for adults whose primary question is whether they meet criteria for ADHD.
This evaluation emphasizes a detailed clinical and developmental interview, standardized ADHD questionnaires, brief cognitive testing in areas of attention and executive functioning, assessment of functional impairment, consideration of alternative explanations for symptoms, and diagnostic feedback.
A written report documenting the findings and recommendations is included.
Comprehensive ADHD & Neuropsychological Evaluation
$1,500
Designed for adults who would benefit from a broader assessment of cognitive functioning in addition to ADHD evaluation.
This evaluation includes the components of the focused ADHD assessment along with formal neuropsychological testing of areas such as attention, processing speed, working memory, executive functioning, and other relevant cognitive abilities.
A comprehensive written neuropsychological report and feedback appointment are included.
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation
$2,500
Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations may be recommended for concerns involving memory loss, dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, or other neurological and cognitive concerns.
The evaluation includes a comprehensive clinical interview, review of relevant records, and assessment across multiple areas of functioning, which may include memory, language, attention, processing speed, visuospatial abilities, executive functioning, behavioral and emotional functioning, and intellectual functioning when indicated.
Findings are integrated into a detailed written report that includes diagnostic impressions and individualized recommendations. A separate feedback appointment is also included so that Dr. Cline can review the results, diagnosis, and recommendations with you in clear, understandable language.
Payment
For private-pay evaluations:
50% of the total evaluation fee is due when the testing appointment is confirmed.
The remaining 50% is due before the final written report is released.
Payment may be made by credit card through the secure patient portal.
The feedback appointment may occur before the remaining balance has been paid in full; however, the final written report will not be released until the account balance has been paid in full.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Because a substantial amount of time is reserved specifically for each evaluation, please provide as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
A $350 fee will be charged for a no-call/no-show on the day of the appointment.
Insurance
Red Pine Neuropsychology currently operates primarily as a private-pay practice.
For services that are not billed through Medicare, payment is made directly to Red Pine Neuropsychology rather than billed to an insurance company.
Depending on your insurance plan, you may have out-of-network benefits that reimburse a portion of the cost of psychological or neuropsychological evaluation services. Upon request, appropriate documentation may be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Because insurance plans vary considerably, reimbursement cannot be guaranteed. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company directly to determine whether out-of-network psychological or neuropsychological assessment benefits are available.
Medicare
Red Pine Neuropsychology currently has a pending application for enrollment as a Medicare provider.
Once enrollment is complete and an effective date has been confirmed, qualifying neuropsychological evaluation services may be billed to Medicare in accordance with Medicare coverage and billing requirements.
Until enrollment has been finalized, patients should not assume that services can be billed to Medicare.
This page will be updated as soon as Medicare participation becomes active and additional information is available regarding covered services, patient responsibility, and scheduling.
HSA and FSA Accounts
Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds may often be used for psychological and neuropsychological services.
Because individual plans vary, you may wish to confirm eligibility with your plan administrator.
Questions About Fees?
If you are unsure which type of evaluation is appropriate or have questions about fees, payment, Medicare, or possible out-of-network reimbursement, you are welcome to contact the practice before scheduling.
